This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to explore the trends, patterns, and scholarly landscape surrounding financial literacy and financial inclusion in rural areas between 2007 and 2025.The dual themes of financial literacy and financial inclusion have gained considerable attention over the past two decades due to their critical roles in reducing poverty, fostering economic growth, and promoting sustainable development. The sample procedure was conducted using PRISMA approach. A total of 492 documents were sourced from the Scopus database using a combination of search terms “financial literacy” OR “financial inclusion” AND “Rural Area”. The study used programs like VOSviewer for network visualization and Microsoft Excel for descriptive statistical analysis to find key nations, authors, journals, and funding organizations that contribute to the field. The results show a notable increase in publications after 2020, reaching a peak in 2024, suggesting that the relationship between financial education and rural inclusion is gaining scholarly attention. This paper highlights the trends, influential authors and possible research gaps for further investigations, as well as offering insightful information about the development of scholarly work in this area.
