Since Organic Farming provides a socially and environmentally responsible substitute for conventional farming, it has become an essential part of sustainable agriculture. Organic farming has gained popularity in India in recent decades as a way to advance sustainable agriculture. Organic agriculture is a viable alternative to conventional farming, which faces difficulties due to land degradation, groundwater depletion, biodiversity loss, and the detrimental effects of chemical inputs. Organic farming has demonstrated the ability to lower input costs and increase farmer incomes. Farmers frequently enjoy larger profit margins as a result of premium prices for organic crops and reduced costs for chemical inputs, even though initial yields may be lower. According to case studies from states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, organic farmers are economically resilient, especially in regions that are prone to drought and where traditional farming practices increase crops' resistance to environmental stress.
