Abstract

In the Middle Ages, there were many such saints-Mahatmas and great men on the holy land of Bharat, who understood and felt the meaning of human society, the world and the whole pastoral nature, and then shared those thoughts and great words for all people's happiness, public welfare, public welfare, public welfare. Expressed, who have been an exemplary ideal for universal and eternal human beings in every sphere of life and will always be. Among such saint poets, the names of Kabirdas, Raidas, Guru Nanak Dev, Dadoodayal, Rajabdas, Malukdas, Dharamdas, Sunderdas, Charandas, Sahajobai etc. are particularly noteworthy. Apart from these, the Sant Poetry of Hindi can be seen enriched by the speech and thoughts of many other saint poets.

मध्ययुग में भारतभूमि की पावन धरा पर ऐसे ही अनेक संत-महात्मा व महापुरुष हुए, जिन्होंने मानव समाज, जीवजगत् एवं सम्पूर्ण चराचर प्रकृति के मर्म को जाना-समझा एवं अनुभूत किया और फिर सर्वजनसुखाय, सर्वजनहिताय, लोक कल्याणकारी, जनमंगलविधायी उन विचारों एवं महावाणी को अभिव्यक्त किया, जो जीवन के प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में सार्वभौमिक एवं सार्वकालिक मानव के लिए अनुकरणीय आदर्श रहे हैं और सदैव रहेंगे। ऐसे संत कवियों में कबीरदास, रैदास, गुरुनानक देव, दादूदयाल, रज्जबदास, मलूकदास, धरमदास, सुंदरदास, चरनदास, सहजोबाई आदि के नाम विशेषरूप से उल्लेखनीय हैं। इनके अतिरिक्त अन्य अनेक संतकवियों की वाणी और विचारों से भी हिन्दी का संत काव्य समृद्ध देखा जा सकता है।
